The National Testing Agency will on July 22 issue scorecards for the UGC NET June session 2025. Students who appeared and registered for the UGC NET exam can check and download the results from the NTA’s official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This year, the June session was conducted between June 25 and 29. The exam serves to assess eligibility for assistant professor positions, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admissions to the PhD programme.
To qualify for the UGC NET exam, candidates in the general category must achieve a minimum score of 40 per cent. For candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories, the required passing score is 35 per cent.
UGC NET June Session 2025 Result: Steps to downloadÂ
The candidates who appeared for the June 2025 UGC NET exam can download their results by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link showing ‘UGC NET Result 2025’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, on the new window that will appear, you need to enter the required credentials and click the submit button.
Step 4: You will be able to see your result displayed on the screen. and can download and save it for future reference.Â
Along with the results, NTA will release the subject/category-wise cut-off list for the UGC NET Result 2025. There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the UGC NET results. The results will be compiled based on the final answer key released. The record of the UGC NET will be preserved for up to 90 days from the date of the result declaration.

In the last session, for Assistant Professorship, as many as 48,161 candidates qualified for Assistant Professorship, and admissions to PhD and 1,14,445 candidates qualified for PhD only. Of the 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam, as many as 6,49,490 candidates appeared. While only 5,158 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in December 2204 session.
