The TNDGE conducted the SSLC and HSE plus 1 supplementary exams in July. While the TN SSLC supplementary exams were held between July 4 and July 10, The TN HSE +1 supplementary exams were conducted between July 4 to 11.

In the TN SSLC results this year, of the total 8,71,239 students appearing, as many as 8,17,261 students have passed. Of the total appearing students, 4,36,120 students were boys and 4,35,119 were girl students. As many as 4,00,078 boys and 4,17,183 girl students have passed. There was one transgender student who appeared. The pass percentage in the transgender student is 100 per cent. The pass percentage this year was 93.80 per cent.

In TN HSE Plus one results, a total of 8,07,098 students, including 4,24,610 girls and 3,82,488 boys, have registered for their TN +1 exam this year. As many as 7,43,232 girls have passed, of which 4,03,949 are girls and 3,39,283 are boys. Overall, 92.09% of Class 11 students have passed their +1 exam this year.
There will not be any topper’s list. Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu board has stopped ‘advertising’ or declaring the names of the top-ranked students. Instead, it announces the city or district that registers the highest pass percentage and centums in the subjects. According to TNDGE, the move is aimed at reducing ‘unhealthy’ competition.
