The National Board of Education in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 3 will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025. NEET PG, held for admission to MD/ MS/ PG diploma and post MBBS DNB courses, direct six-year DrNB courses and NBEMS diploma courses, will be conducted in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Candidates taking NEET PG 2025 on August 3 will be allowed entry to the examination centre and start the registration for the test from 7 am. At 8.30 am, entry to the NEET PG 2025 exam centre will close and the aspirants will be granted access for candidate login at 8.45 am.
NEET PG 2025: Things to carry
– A printed copy of the NEET PG admit card featuring a barcode or QR code.
– A photocopy of their Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration, which will be collected at the centre.
– Any one original and valid non-expired government-issued photo ID. They may be PAN Card, driving license, voter ID, passport and Aadhaar card with photograph
– PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming scribe/ extra-time as per provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016, if applicable
NEET PG 2025: Items barred
– Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, etc.
– Any electronic device like mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, wrist watch/smart watches or health band, calculator, electronic pen or scanner etc.
– All ornaments like bracelets, ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain or necklace, pendants, necklace with pendants, badge, brooch etc.
– Other items like wallet, goggles, handbags, belt, cap etc.
– Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle etc.
– Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless, bluetooth device, spy camera etc.
NEET PG 2025 will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) featuring multiple-choice questions. The test consists of 200 questions, each with four answer options provided in English. Candidates must select the most appropriate or correct response for each question. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Each correct answer will carry four marks. For every incorrect response, one mark will be deducted as part of the 25 per cent negative marking scheme. No marks will be deducted for questions that are left unattempted. Questions which are marked for review will be evaluated as per the marking scheme.
