The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has made the link active for the option entry against Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET or UGCET). Candidates who had filled the form verification by July 4 will now be able to fill in their college and course preferences on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2: On homepage, click on KCET option entry link from latest announcements
Step 3: Now, either scan or login with CET NO
Step 4: Fill in college and course preferences
Step 5: Lock choices and submit them
KEA has also released the seat matrix for engineering, agriculture and veterinary online. Candidates can access them at the KEA portal.

After KCET option entry 2025 window closes, KEA will be releasing the mock allotment list so that candidates understand how options are allotted based on their submissions.
Before actual seat allotment, candidates will get the provision to modify, delete or re-arrange their KCET 2025 preferences as candidates will be granted seats on the basis of their rank, choices filled and seat availability.
This year, KEA conducted ‘UGCET-2025 – Interaction on Seat Allotment Process’ (Seetu Hanchike Manthana), on June 28, aiming to further streamline the professional course admission process by educating students and parents on each stage involved.

The programme was held across the state in 16 government engineering colleges, eight aided engineering colleges, six engineering colleges affiliated to VTU, and nine government polytechnic colleges located in districts where government engineering colleges were not available. The event addressed frequently asked questions such as: How does the counselling process work? How to choose a college? and How to enter options? This programme offers an ideal opportunity for students and parents to visit their nearest college and get their queries resolved.
