CBSE Class 12th Compartment Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results for Class 12 compartment exams. Students who appeared can visit the official website–cbseresults.nic.in– and check and download the scorecards. Students can also check their CBSE Class 12th results on the IE Education portal education.indianexpress.com.
In the year 2025, a total of 14,010 schools and 963 exam centres were involved in conducting the CBSE Class 12th supplementary examinations. A total of 1,43,581 candidates were registered for the exams, out of which 1,38,666 appeared. Of these, 53,201 students successfully passed the CBSE supplementary examinations, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 38.36 per cent.
When considering the performance of candidates from foreign schools in the CBSE supplementary exams, 938 students registered and 918 appeared. Out of these, 486 students passed, achieving a significantly higher pass percentage of 52.94 per cent.
In terms of gender-wise performance in the CBSE Class 12th supplementary exams, girls outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls stood at 41.35 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 36.79 per cent, indicating that girls performed better by a margin of 4.56 per cent.
In the supplementary examinations conducted in 2025, a total of 278 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) candidates registered for the exams. Out of these, 273 candidates appeared, and 137 successfully passed. This resulted in a pass percentage of 50.18 per cent.
The CBSE supplementary examinations of all the subjects of class 12th were conducted on July 15 across the nation and in 26 countries abroad. The verification process will start on August 6.
The CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 results were declared on May 13. Out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered for the CBSE Class 10 exams, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students passed. In the CBSE Class 12 examinations held this year, a total of 17,04,367 students were registered. Out of these, 16,92,794 students appeared, and 14,96,307 students passed the exam.

In 2024, CBSE announced results for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams on May 13. In 2023, it was announced on May 12. In 2022 and 2021, the results were delayed to July 22 and August 3, respectively, due to disruptions caused by the pandemic.
