BSF Recruitment 2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Border Security Force (BSF) has released a short recruitment notice for the post of Constable Tradesman for the year 2025. Applicants will be able to register through the official BSF website at bsf.gov.in, once the application process begins.
This recruitment drive is open to both male and female candidates.. As per the announcement, a total of 3,588 positions will be filled across various trades including Cobbler, Tailor, Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Painter, and others.
According to the brief notification published in the Employment Newspaper, the total number of posts stands at 3,588, out of which 3,406 vacancies are for male candidates and 182 for female candidates. What is the required eligibility?
Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years as of the closing date of the application. Age relaxations will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and other special categories as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government.
–For Trades like Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, and Upholster:
Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognised board
(i) Two-year ITI certificate in the relevant or similar trade; or
(ii) One-year ITI or government-recognised vocational training certificate with at least one year of experience in the trade

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board
Proficiency in the relevant trade
Must clear a trade test conducted by the recruitment board
