IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will close its registration window for the 2025 recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO) on July 21, 2025. Candidates interested in applying for these posts can find the direct link on the official IBPS website — ibps.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,215 positions, including 5,208 vacancies for Probationary Officers and 1,007 for Specialist Officers.

For PO roles, applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government, with an age limit between 20 and 30 years as on July 1, 2025. For Specialist Officers, the required educational qualifications vary by post and can be found in the detailed notification, with the same age criteria applying.
Candidates interested in applying for the IBPS PO or SO posts—or both—can begin by visiting the official website, ibps.in. From the home page, they should click on the respective IBPS PO or SO registration link. This will open a new page where they need to select the “Apply Online” option and enter their registration details before submitting.
Once registered, candidates must log in to their account, complete the application form, and pay the applicable fee. After submission, it’s advised to download the confirmation page and retain a printed copy for future reference.
The application fee is RS 850 for candidates from all other categories, while SC/ST/PwBD applicants need to pay Rs 175. Payments can be made via online mode. For complete notification and eligibility, candidates should visit the official IBPS website.
Admission to the examination will be purely provisional without verification of eligibility documents. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to interview. The candidates who have opted for the services of a scribe in the online application form will be required to fill in the details of the scribe at the time of downloading the examination call letter.
